Tuna Salad

Add some vegetables to your tuna sandwich with this color tuna salad. Kale, carrots, and dill combined with the tuna make a fresh tasting, crunchy dish.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Tuna, two cans
  • 1 cup Kale, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk Celery
  • 1 tbsp Dill, fresh
  • 1 tsp Mustard, stone ground or Dijon
  • 5 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground

Instructions

  • Chop the celery and carrot. I recommend chopping the carrot into small cubes or strips.
  • Finely chop the kale and dill.
  • Drain the water from the tuna.
  • Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix until equally blended.
  • Serve with crackers, flat bread, toasted wheat bread, or other favorite bread.

Notes

Enjoy this salad with crackers or your favorite homemade bread, such as a Spent Grain Loaf.
