Instructions
Preheat oven to 250℉.
In a large bowl, combine oats, coconut, nuts, and seeds.
In another bowl, mix honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, and coconut oil. I find it easier to mix the coconut oil after I heat it in the microwave for about 15 seconds.
Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Spread the mix on the baking sheet and bake for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
Take out of the oven and let the granola cool. After it is cooled, mix in the dry fruit.
Notes
Store in a sealed container, such as a mason jar. This shelf stable food can be stored at room temperature for a couple weeks, if you don't finish it before then.Substitute molasses for the honey for a richer flavor. Add some flax seed or other seeds you favor.
