Ingredients<\/h3>
  • 2<\/span> tablespoons<\/span> drippings<\/span> - from the turkey or roast pan<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> tablespoons<\/span> cornstarch<\/span><\/li>
  • 1\/4<\/span> cup<\/span> water<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> cups<\/span> liquid<\/span> - stock, water, cream, milk<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n

    Instructions<\/h3>
    • Put the 2 tablespoons of drippings into a small sauce pan and heat on the stove with medium heat.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Mix the 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with about 1\/4 cup of cold water, so it dissolves and makes a thin paste.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Add the cornstarch mixture to the drippings and whisk to blend<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Continue to whisk until the mixture starts to thicken, then add a small amount of liquid and whisk again.  Continue to add small amounts of liquid and whisking until you get to the consistency that you want.<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n
